That sounds almost as bad as riding on a beach in the midst of a red tide bloom. Which of course was what happened during my 2025 trip. Still a blast though.

I haven’t researched different types of sands, I rode on Cape San Blas in the panhandle. I’ve barely used the bike since the late 2025 trip but I have no significant issues at this moment. I just rinsed it well after each use.

No issues but we haven’t been able to put many miles on the bike since the mods. No regrets though, don’t foresee any issues. The 2.4” DHR2 Double Downs are a very stout tire with thick sidewalks. Good luck!

I could be wrong but I think the Espin and Level 2 published weights are without the batteries and the published weight for the LMT’D includes the battery. They’re all good bikes though. Good luck!

No, I purchased the rear rack separately. It was on back order and took a few months to get here. I haven’t installed it yet. I’m not sure if they offer fenders for the LMT’D.

Very happy with the Ride1up LMT’D. If the weight of the bike is a consideration, the LMT’D is the lightest of the bunch and you’re not giving up anything.

I went with a Ride1up step through LMT’D. I felt it had better components and it was lighter weight (53lbs with battery). I put 2.4” Maxxis Minon DHR2 tires on it. Don’t think 2.6” would fit. We’re happy with the purchase.

The LMT’D is my wife’s bike and she’s extremely petite. The bike is already a bit large for her so I would prefer not to increase height.

Strange question, but I would like to upgrade the front shock on my Ride-up LMT’D and options are limited. It comes with an 80mm travel shock.
