    Fender flaps or extenders?

Thanks guys, some awesome ideas. We have dedicated beach cruisers but would love to take the ebikes out there. At low tide I have about 10 miles of ridable beach, so we are out there a lot. Beach cruisers are 7 years old and even with a good rinsing they are pretty rusted up.

    Fender flaps or extenders?

I live on the beach. Sand is always an issue. But, I would like to reduce the problem if possible. Does anyone know if someone makes a flap that you could attach to the bottom of the current front fender to hopefully block more sand from flying into my chain and sprocket? I am thinking of...

    What's that rattle

We have two Level 2s and no rattle at all. Ours are 4 months old and we love these things.

    Bike Lock

Litelok x1 and x3 are exactly what you're looking for. but they are not cheap. Look them up, there is a good video on them. And remember, a portable torch can make VERY short work of ANYTHING. My son lost the key to his U-lock at school and that was my solution. Maybe two seconds. Good news...

Level 2, how can I raise my handle bars 2-3 inches?

I ended up buying longer brake line and a flush kit for about 25 bucks amazon. Little work but now the Lerway extender gave me about 3.5 inch rise.

    Traveling in really wet weather

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE riding in the rain and the mud, its the kid in me. My concern is 75+mph down the hwy in a downpour, road mist, and salt, that I think would be a challenge for any bike at any cost. My $2500 specialized mountain bike with a "sealed" crank did not live up to...

    Traveling in really wet weather

No such thing as "waterproof" some may be much more water resistant, but none of them are waterproof. Trust me on that. I live in a salt water environment.

    Traveling in really wet weather

Was also looking at some battery / frame covers for just local travel. I just need to measure my frame. Something like this https://www.ebay.com/itm/314949113312?var=0&mkevt=1&mkcid=1&mkrid=711-53200-19255-0&campid=5338590836&toolid=10044&customid=87d88ed0ec5616660cefebad6ad6acb9

Damn, those are hard to find anymore, and if so, many of them rent by the hour:) JK, I love the convenience of backing up to my door.

    Traveling in really wet weather

Thx guys. some great tips here. When traveling do guys typically take your bikes into hotels? I have done it before with my good mtn bike but have not traveled with these, which are even more expensive. cheers

    Traveling in really wet weather

Planning on doing some long distance travel with our bikes, on a rack or back of pick up. Hitting nasty weather is unavoidable and wonder what others have done to protect electronics from heavy rain and such.

Bike tires? Puncture proof? Skid proof?

Thanks guys, Yeah, I've probably changed a hundred bike tires/tubes in my life, was just hoping for a quick fix on the road to get me back, then do the full repair. I do have a portable pump so I am set there. thanks again, cheers.

Bike tires? Puncture proof? Skid proof?

Thanks, I guess I see the preventive aspects, but wondering if anyone carries slime for after the fact. I think it also inflates tires too? I can see the need for carrying plyers to remove something, and then inflating with the slime/fix-a-flat? Never used it before so have no idea how it works.
