Well yes, verge if there is one is smoother then cobbles though organisers often block it like in the Ronde with crash barriers right to edge of cobbles. The crown is best if the road slopes as your wheels will easily slide on the slopes. Especially when wet, like slimy rocks on the seaside.

Great for August that's 2 stages so far this year. And Seixas, future awaits. Healy had a crash earlier in week so good to see him being competitive again today. We have the same Atlantic storm rolling in here, rain next 3 days but just checked, doesn't hit a certain French town on Belgian...

Wabash RT Dies after ~7000 miles / 15 months of Use

The average life of an E bike motor is very mixed, it's why warranty is important. Some shocking survey results recently put motor failure rates as high as 35% of all motors. The industry needs to do better. On the other hand there has been a big increase in third party motor repair centres to...

Pog going 1x and running 38mm front tyre (Gp5000 35mm measuring 37.9mm) Rear tyre still 32mm. There were online guesses of 40mm, not far off!

Commentator on the highlights I saw said the fan made an ill advised effort to push him along, give him a boost, the result being he collided with Lipowitz. Stupid move but if correct, at least he wasn't being malicious, just an over excited idiot.

That vote would be mixed for sure! But majority of the Flemish would vote to keep them nd would fight to death to keep them! As they say in Holland those hard men "...have diamonds in their legs"! Plus you know, traditions. It's a Monument for a reason. That Sunday In Hell doc was 1976 and in...

    Another new TQ motor: hpr40

Yes even some UK EMTB reviewers were saying this in relation to this power arms race, that it's rare you'd even need that much power and you'll rinse the battery very quickly on that boost level. Most kind of agreeing that the Bosch CX level is probably enough. Personally after coming first...

2026 - Our Rides in Words, Photos, Maps and Videos

Hate to disagree with you but I think those might be two little grey Fergies. Would make sense in Scotland. Didn't get many Fords over here, Ford didn't export them instead we had Fordsons, made in England. I learnt to drive on a David Brown 880 in the early 80s, which might account for my...

    Another new TQ motor: hpr40

Just comparing the media coverage of this new BMC bike to the huge launch of that Avinox motors yesterday. I know this is just one new bike model and the TQ40 motor came out last year, but I couldn't find one you tube review of the BMC anywhere. It's a very niche market for tiny, low powered...

If you have patience could try searching the EMTB forums as the Levo is such a common machine, loads of them about. Here's where I go: https://www.emtbforums.com/

Very interesting. Not an engineer but I do get nervous when it's software not mechanical, not when the motor is new, but how the longevity of the system pans out. I guess we'll hear more reports as people buy the bikes.

Great seeing all the doc footage of Merckx near the start; in his swanky rockstar 70s civilian clothes and shades, giving the mechanics a hard time, obsessive about saddle position. And then midst that printers demonstration, tyres of cars being slashed, police with bolt action rifles looking...
