Yes... I think it had 3 seasons but been a while. What was brilliant about it was they weren't afraid to show all the BTS stuff honestly, team politics, petty rivalry, arguments and it covers a period where several big name riders of today were around back then and some fell out with Movistar...

After the stage win Enric Mas profoundly thanked his DSs for all the advice on team radio. I wndered about that... Then under the YT clip of that post race interview, someone had written the perfect response: If you followed the 3 seasons of that Movistar fly on the wall doc on Netflix...

Pidcock wins Worlds XCO, Britain wins 1+2 with Charlie Aldridge coming second, third went to a delighted Cole Punchard from Canada. The 4th place rider Kossmann, from Chile was very unlucky puncturing on the second last lap when he had bronze in the bag - commentaters said it would have been...

Ha then we're deadly rivals you and me-I'm going for Mas, 31 always there or there abouts on the big climbs, always the bridesmaid never the bride, riding for the longest established team,(1980) Movistar, struggling like a lot of mid tier teams these days and in the only race that means anything...

What a stage, what a last 22km climb! So much to disscect! Surely Jeremy you can see the difference when there are 5 on the mountain each of which could win overall? How much more exciting it is with all to play for when they are watching each other half way up this enormous mountain with 7km...

for roglic to win he can't risk losing more time to Gall or Mas on mountains. Or conversely Mas and Gall know they need to claw time as a buffer for the TT. Decthlon look to have better climbing then Boro or Movistar but for all of them this is a major incentive. Nobody wants to win because Pog...

Leaves 6 riders in a battle: Mas, Roglic, Gall, Kuss, Onley, and Carapaz at 2,22 back. Loads of mountains ahead and the one TT at I tnink 36km and pretty flat. And of those 6 only Roglic has a decent TT. Mas is a minute ahead but that's not a lot if he's going to stay clear after the time trial...

Pog out. Broken collar bone looks like, fast crash middle of peloton. head bleeding and loads of abrasions so brabably consussed as well. Shocking because you never see Pog crash like this and been taken away in an ambulance. Terrible moment.

its not much steeper then a few hills in Strade which hit 15-18% and with this being less gravelly then the white roads of Tuscany, it looked better for grip. I heard one of the aussie commentators say Pog had swapped his bike/wheels for knobbles before the climb but didn't get a close look at...

Great stage. Good on Mas, fantastic ride. Local hill knowledge there, always pays. And good for Movistar. Onley made the rookie mistake that Remco, Seixas and many others have - feeling good, feeling I can stay with Pog - no, no you can't and you blow up losing over a minute. Hard to blame...

Accell group goes bust; Raleigh, Haibike, Lapierre and others future in doubt.

Ha! saw a similar post under a vid from Cycling About explaining that Koga dropped his sponsorship. The poster said angrily maybe if he made more YT vids about the Koga bike they wouldn't have dumped him! Not that Koga were going bust at the time due to Accell woes...

The MTB worlds started yesterday in Italy. The Men & Women's XCO takes place Sunday afternoon, no official start list yet up on the UCI site. I'm not sure how seeding worked but I'm guessing that's why MVDP competed last weekend to get a good starting position. So I don't know if Pidcock is...

Accell group goes bust; Raleigh, Haibike, Lapierre and others future in doubt.

This is a good snapshot of a moment in time but the sands are dramatically shifting. With Accell collapsing it could be a sign of things to come as more Asian BTB brands come out of the shadows like XDS with 8 million or so bikes made each year. Both Giant and XDS produce frames and parts for...
