I am looking for a range extnder for my 2 year old vibe, and the prices ofr the x35 range extender is way more than the X20 equivalent. Can I use the range extender on my X35 equipped Vibe?

If we are talking about the light integrated into the head tube, in the rubber grommet there is a small on off switch. Hold it down it should work. I didtn realise it was there, not evident inany manuals, and managed to 'destroy' the switch......long story

Thanks for the reply. If you free wheel then the cassette does rotate at a different speed, but I take your point generally. So what determines the amoint of torque/power that the motor puts out, what is it in proportion to?
