    Timelapse of my evening commute

Sure. Just GoPro Hero7 Black mounted on my helmet and Garmin VivoActive watch on my wrist for tracking. The video editing was done in Adobe Premiere using graphs from Garmin Connect software.

    Timelapse of my evening commute

Here is a timelapse of my daily evening commute in Portland, OR. 17 km in 43 minutes with 400 m elevation gain. Riding Trek PowerFly 5 (the police version). Pretty diverse and colorful ride on city streets, bike paths, uphill through a big city park and fast downhill paralleling and crossing a...

    New trek police bike

Congratulations! I hope you will love the bike. I have had it for just about a year, put 2200 miles on it. My bike shop only replaced the chain and brake pads at 2k miles. It's been working great.

    Timewarp of my daily commute.

I bike on NW Cornell RD and NW Thompson Rd all the way up to NW Skyline Blvd and then downhill to Cedar Mill. This route is the only I can ride from this part of Portland. My only other option would be taking the trail following Sunset HW 26 but that is nasty noisy area and almost three miles...

    Timewarp of my daily commute.

I average 15 mph on the flats and uphill and reach max of 30 mph riding the downhill part. Unfortunately that road is the only connection to the city for bikers from the side of town I live in. I wish the car traffic would be limited to local residents only since there is a big freeway...

    Timewarp of my daily commute.

Here is a short video of my daily commute from work back home. 7.6 miles, 1000 ft elevation gain one way, TREK PowerFly 5. Very nice ride, I just wish there would be more bike lanes for me instead of riding on side of the road most of the time. Commute video

It finally happened - ran out of juice

Exactly. That's what I have figured out now too. I was really thinking the last bar on the controller would be roughly 20% battery power left but that is far from the truth.

It finally happened - ran out of juice

I have not ridden any hub drive bikes but when I ride my mid drive without any assist it feels pretty close to a real bike (a heavy one).

It finally happened - ran out of juice

Trek Powerfly 5 Speed, Bosch 500 Powerpack. Have been commuting since August, always keeping the battery charged between 20% and 80%. Last night when biking back home from work (7 miles) I underestimated the remaining capacity and had to pedal hard uphill without any assistance the last quarter...

+1. Trek Powerfly 5 might be the right choice for you.

    New trek police bike

On a full charge I can make four trips. That is 30 miles with 3000 ft elevation gain. I ride 70% on TOUR (flats and slight uphills) and 30% on SPORT (steeper uphills). Because I try to keep the battery charged only between 20% and 80% I plug it in more often. I keep two chargers, one at home and...

    New trek police bike

I took it to the store I had bought it from and asked them. They were able to add the lighting and plug it directly to a harness somewhere inside the motor (I was told they had to partially expose the connections inside the motor). Now I can control it via button on my Purion controller. This is...

    New trek police bike

Congratulations! You are going to love this bike. I have had it since last week in July. Biking daily to work. Put over 1000 miles on it. The only thing I have changed are the tires. I was getting flats way too often with the original G-One Performance so I switched to Schwalbe Marathon Almotion...
