This is why I made them take my bike back after they wanted to replace the entire bike a second time in 1 year. Glad I did because the just left my LBS high and dry for all warranty work.
You don’t need to shut it off. Just go into the Mission Control app and adjust the assistance in eco down to the lowest available setting. Or use the micro tune option to do the same while riding. It’s just harder to get to micro tune on the enviolo vs the chain drive version.
All my issues were with the IGH (both software and mechanical). The chain drive version may have worked fine, but I lost confidence in the brand after 2 repairs they couldn’t support in 1 year that lead to 2 new bikes on warranty.
My big concern was what happens when warranty is gone. I opted...
No it’s not. From what I see Redshift only offers 27.2 diameter.
For what it’s worth, I run a Kinekt post instead. So here’s what I’d recommend.
Buy a Kinekt here: https://cirruscycles.com/products/kinekt-active-suspension-seatpost
I’d get the XR in Aluminum at 420mm and 31.6 mm diameter...
Obviously not. Sad because it rode great when it worked.
Got a fully kitted Benno Boost Class 3 with dual battery with everything 20% off (including bike) on order at the LBS. I’ll be able to take my daughter too/from camp this summer and school in the fall by bike now. Happy trade imo.
Maybe. The ebike was for commuting and grocery getting. So I’ve been looking at long tails. Especially since I have a separate Gravel Bike and MTB for those activities anyway.
When I bought the Vado my LBS only dealt with Specialized. Now they have most of the big Bosch names. I can get a deal...
So you probably saw my prior post where Specialized replaced my Vado because they couldn’t fix my defective IGH.
The replacement didn’t come until after riding season ended here. So it sat in the garage until April. The software on this one has been glitchy since I got it. When I power it up...
I just got mine yesterday. My LBS said either they aren’t making those anymore or they’re out of stock from the vendor/manufacturer they deal with. I ordered mine directly from a place that had one in stock online. But be aware it doesn’t sound like there is a lot of inventory around for the...
That was from the prior motor generation. Supposedly it’s fixed in these ones. And the Levo was supposedly worse because pedal strikes put strain in the direction on the bearing it wasn’t designed to handle well.
I have sworn off buying any more new bikes from them. The only reason I’m looking at picking up a Stumpjumper Comp is because it’s a 1 year old, lightly used one from someone I trust for a killer deal.
