OK, panic evening over. I swapped out both batteries and my bike was showing 1 bar while wife's bike was showing full charge. After taking my bike out for a ride, it just took a moment and it started reading full charge.

From the low pedal to the top of the middle of the seat is 36.5", although that's slightly diagonal. Hope this helps.

Nice unboxing. I would suggest airing down the front tire as an alternative to removing it. Either way works!
