No I meant for the entire Vuelta. If Pogi hadn't crashed out, nobody was going to win the GC but Pogi. Mas, if he wins, is best of the rest. Mind you I like Mas and am rooting for him, but he knows the truth just like everyone else.

I'm thinking Merlier and Jasper the Disaster. Grimay not so much. And yes, an * would be by Mas' win because Pogi crashed out. The same as there is for Sepp, although the reason for the * is different.

They could partially solve the heat problem by starting stages before one in the afternoon. That's one of the reasons the Vuelta is third in a three in three horse grand tour race. I get it, it's all about having the stages to finish during prime TV time in Spain. But what's it gonna take...

A winner of a single stage in a stage race can be the strongest rider on the day, or not. The goals and tactics of each team, stages, points jerseys or overall GC, will dictate what does and doesn't happen. Riders who are out of contention for GC won't be immediately chased down by teams...

The bike is currently in the shop for a handlebar swap and then the install of the range extender battery. I did take two rides on it before returning it to the shop for those upgrades and can say without a doubt I should have got it sooner.

Updating this thread, I pick up my Checkpoint Plus a SLR5 on Tuesday. The range extender has to be ordered. Can't wait to ride it.

It was a four corner circuit of just over eight miles each lap, so sometimes a block headwind, then side wind and tail wind. I may go over to the Trek dealer and see what the owner has to say. (Not a Trek owned store). They do make a spare battery for it that's 160 wh but it's probably 700...
