So as I mentioned in my other thread my wife drove my Cycrown CycUltra ebike and loved it. After that it was basically her bike lol Which was secretly ok with me because even though I really liked that bike I had for the last year always loved the looks of the Revv1 from Ride1up. Well that was...
A little back story. So about a month ago the three of us, my wife/10 year old daughter/ and myself decided let's get bikes and start riding for fun. The biking was more just something to do. Go out for a fun ride for an hour or 2 and just enjoy being outside (get the hell off youtube). We...
Not really true. Ebikes like super73 and revv1 have pedals and even on pedal assist one it's 10-12mph and you're really not even pedaling. You're definitely not getting any real exercise on certain ebikes on even the lowest pedal assist level.
Yup you're right. Just messed around with it. I don't like cruise control, feels weird to me lol I have never liked it on any of my cars and i guess not on my bike either!
Yea It doesn't have that and even if it did I probably wouldn't do it. I'd hate for the speedo and stuff to be off just to get an extra 5mph or so. The manual does mention something though. It's a bit vague. There are 4 customizable settings the display lets you get into.
#2 says controller...
Ah interesting. I just assumed it was being limited because with me on it (6ft -210lbs) it gets up to speed pretty effortlessly. If I lift the back tire and just use the throttle it's the same. 28.6mph right away. Since it's a 750 watt with a 1250 peak I thought it may at least have another 5mph...
I am absolutely loving the hobby. I really forgot how fun it was to ride a bike! lol
I just ordered some pedals to upgrade that part of my bike. I thought the orange would match the rest of the bike and look pretty cool! Mostly I ride with my daughter which is great because we are bonding...
Just had some questions and ideas I wanted to talk to someone about.
Also had some friends that were potentially looking to also get into the hobby.
Wondering if there were any custom builders or shops near me that I could get in touch with and have in mind for repairs and also...
Yes I guess I'll enjoy it and just upgrade as parts break. I just got back from a night ride with my wife and 10 year old daughter. Bike lights on. Helmets on. Crisp cool air in my face and making fun memories with her. I'm definitely loving this hobby and my bike! Thank you all for your advice...
Yea you kind of hit on what I was also trying to say. Being that all the parts are kind of cheap meh parts if I fall in love with the bike itself (like I seem to be doing) and eventually wanted to upgrade to better parts and so on I wanted to ensure that's an option.
Thanks again
Thanks Harry!! So along the same line of thought does that also mean that if I eventually wanted to upgrade some parts to better brakes/suspension/stronger motor+battery that is all possible would just require some extra customization and obviously a budget to do so.
Appreciate your reply :)
