Finding geared 36V 350W motor loud

My previous bike had a brushless motor that was quite silent. slightly less power, a bit of drag when pedaling with no motor, but no stress over noise. Is there a thread where all the different motor types are listed?

Finding geared 36V 350W motor loud

I notice in that vid, the motor is rated at 500W. Is my motor also capable of handling that? I don't think there is anything wrong with the motor. The Voltbike Urban I briefly owned was exactly the same. Some other posts online suggest such geared motors reach their quietest after a few hundred...

Hi everybody sorry for the original post. it was late. The number on the motor is XBSWX02 but it doesn't bring up anything on the Bafang website? Is there a known good quiet model I could replace with? Thanks.

Finding geared 36V 350W motor loud

Edited the post down, sorry for previous ramble. My first electric for the past several years was something more or less like this: From this seller There was resistance to the pedalling with no motor so I'm assuming it's direct drive? It's advertised as brushless, but it's been explained...

Wanted: Voltbike Urban Review, Here you Go!

See my reply under the speed controller thread. The absolute max speed I'm getting is 36km/hr which is about 22mph. 20" tires and 52 tooth front sprocket. You could prob get a slight bit more with a 60 tooth front sprocket.

Hi i attached the admin settings for the standard controller. To get to admin, with the controller on, long press the top and bottom buttons simultaneously. Once you're in admin, it should display P01 or similar. Use the left button to navigate thru the P settings. The attachment describes...

    Voltbike Urban Speed Controller?

So... Tested on the absolute flatness of Richmond just now. Throttle open, no pedaling, power adjusts itself to maintain 32km/hr on the nose. Didn't expect speed bypass to be that easy. It's hard wired. There was a small improvement. Previous to adjustment, at 32km, it almost felt like the bike...

    Voltbike Urban Speed Controller?

I am about to find out. Voltbike gave me cryptic manual in bad English. However, there is a top speed setting. Max is 50km. Mine was set at 32km. Just changed. Report back in a few hours. If works will tell you how. The manual covers 14 settings. However there is actually 16 on the controller...

    anyone oder from here? www.conhismotor.com

I purchased a 36V 30AH battery pack from this company 4 years ago. I have no idea if it's A class or C class cells. However, it's true to its claim. I can ride all day and never worry about losing power. In the spring when I return to regular riding after a few months of inactivity, the cell...
