MacGoreth, I want to install a rear rack platform for my Tero X 6.0 like yours. However, the pictures that you originally posted are no longer available. Can you re-post your rear rack photos on your Tero X 6.0 in this thread along with the item brands that you used to assemble your rear rack...
I use Ortleib Gravel bags on a Tero 5.0 with a Salsa Alternator rack fitted to the back and a Tero X 6.0 with the stock fenders and panier rails that support the fenders. The Ortleib Gravel Bags are no nonsense, lightweight, and water proof.
Great bike. I bought one too this summer. Looking at your rack combination, can you tell me how you fabricated that rack platform to be supported by the fender pannier rails? The photo link that you posted, no longer works. Here is a photo of my Tero X 6. Awesome bike.
I have a Specialized Turbo Tero 5 and Turbo Tero X 6 and I am looking for a simple neoprene cover to wrap around the downtubes with the integrated battery removed during transport on my Quikr Stuff Mach 2 hitch mounted rack.
I want the neoprene wrap to essentially protect the battery cavity...
Ben, being able to walk the bike standing up was also a motivation for me to trim the fender. I regularly walk the bike vertically through my garage to get past the cars. I couldn’t do that with the stocks length of the rear fender. Moving the bike standing up makes it much more versatile...
Trying to locate a Specialized Front Rack & Adventure Plate for my Tero X. They are sold out online, but show a few store with them in stock. In calling the stores, both stated that they are out of stock and that the Specialized website is woefully wrong when it is comes to showing in stock...
Posting this for others as it may come up for you as it did me.
For my Tero X 6, I don’t like the look of the fenders, but they are useful. The front one isn’t an issue for my 1UP tray supported hitch bike rack. But the back fender is too long. I like the tail mounted light on the rear...
I have Ortlieb Gravel Panniers and they fit nicely. The blue table was marking where I trimmed by rear fender so the 1UP Hitch Mounted Bike Rack would work with the fenders. Works well.
