Where do you keep your bike?

I keep my 5 ebikes in my attached 950 sq-ft 3 car garage with two vehicles. I have five Steadyrack mounted on the wall for two 4 inch fat tire ebikes, one 4.8 inch fat tire ebike, and two 2.3 inch Radcity step-thru ebikes with fenders. I usually keep two ebikes on the garage floor in the open...

    Lubing an eBike chain

My Himiway Cobra Pro with BaFang M620 mid-drive doesn't rotate the chain backwards when I need to clean/lube. I do the lean the +98lbs ebike on the kick stand to raise the rear tire, rotate pedals forward to clean/lube the chain.

Looking for a cadence sensor commuting bike-where did they all go?

I feel your pain with the Rad City. I purchased a Rad City5 Plus step thru for my wife in June/23. The controller is starting to go out again with zero PAS/throttle power randomly on a ride (power off/on to fix). This would be my 4th controller for this ebike when Rad sends a replacement...

    Tire Liners

I haven't seen the Bull Thistle where I ride in central NM? We have a lot of goat heads and low to ground paddle cactus hiding in the tall grass/weeds being high desert (+5000 feet): Internet photos below and the reason I like some type of liner and/or sealant. Can be a lot goat heads even...

Known Issues & Problems with Rad Power Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

****Update**** The wife's 2023 Radcity step thru is acting up AGAIN! There is zero power from PAS or throttle once you use the throttle for any reason. PAS power returns back to normal when you turn the ebike power off/on. She noticed it is now starting to lose PAS power mid-ride when she...

    Tire Liners

I started out with Mr. Tuffy liners for my 4" fat tire Radrover in 2016. Mr. Tuffy wasn't enough for extra long goat heads stickers and I needed to add two 4oz bottles of Stans tire sealant per tire as a back-up. The combo reduced my flats from 1-2 times a month to 1-2 times a year compared to...

Big guy looking for good range ebike

I have a Radrover 4" fat tire with 750w cadence sensor and my Himiway Cobra Pro has tq sensors. I have a difficult time matching her speed with the Radrover/cadence sensor when riding together. My Radrover PAS 1-5+7 speed gears don't really match up to her PAS 1-5+/7 speed gears. I'm either...

Big guy looking for good range ebike

I'm another big guy like you at 6'3" and 330lbs. I purchased a Himiway ebike back in 2023 and they are all rated for 80 mile max range (around 120km) and can handle between 330lbs-400lbs depending which ebike you purchase. I would save a bit for a really good saddle. My butt starts to give...

Greetings from Italy! New to e-MTB scene

Welcome to the world of ebikes! Please post some picks of your favorite riding area once you purchase your ebike. The wife and I were able to rent ebikes to ride alone or do guided city tours on vacations before we purchased. That really helped narrow down our choices back then. Seems like...

    I Crashed !!!

What is that old saying: "It is not the fall that hurts ya; it's that sudden stop at the end!".

    I Crashed !!!

I've learned "pain makes you smarter"! Embarrassment can hurt more than pain if someone else was there to witness the accident.

    1,200 miles later (A7 Pro)

Zero issues with my Cobra Pro. I really like the Tannus liners on the Cobra with zero flats in goathead central in NM in +20 months. I added Tannus liners to my older two Radrover 4" fat tire ebikes. No problem with wearing out gears/sprockets/chain yet. Never really had a need to go above...

    left foot forward?

Always swing right leg over ebike to mount, left foot on the ground, and start pedaling with right foot. Might be a different story if the kickstand was on the opposite side? I "feel" my left leg is a touch stronger because of playing basketball (jump higher off left leg from a run) and...

    Ebike rack

I have the Mach2 QuikRstuff bike rack and it is RV rated. You can only use: - the 2" version, - two bike max, - using extender, adapters, swing arms or bike covers can damage the rack (void warranty), - it needs to be a chassis mounted hitch receiver (not a bumper only hitch) - the distance...

Fat STREET Tires are WAY BETTER for Riding on Pavement than KNOBBY Off-Road Tires

Noticed the same issue with my Kenda Juggernaut 26X4 on my rear hub 2016 Radrover. Went from weekend dirt riding only to adding 5 day a week work ebike commuting a year later. The knobby felt a bit squirrely at high speeds on pavement, very loud "killer bees" sound on pavement, rears wore down...
