    Wireless Earbuds for cycling

I love my Shokz and would replace them immediately if lost. I would not expect to be able to have a quiet conference call while biking and expect listeners to not hear wind noise

    Wireless Earbuds for cycling

I can't help you with this. I do use the Shokz when walking the dog and talking on the phone. I'd think it might be fruitless to expect to be able to cycle and be on conference without at least some wind (or other) noises transmitted.

Chain came off: Vado SL 4

I can only speak for myself. My chain drop problems with the Praxis ring had nothing to do with bounce. 100% of my chain drops occurred on relatively smooth asphalt. A high percentage of those drops occurred under motor power at low speed and on incline. As best I could tell, it seemed the...

Vado SL 2 Alloy version released

I used this to move my SL1 headlight off the stem and it looks better than the original placement imo. I did so when I added the RedShift suspension stem to the bike. I got mine on Ebay but here it is: https://www.amazon.com/LEZYNE-Ebike-Light-Replacement-Mount/dp/B08KBS1D7Y

Chain came off: Vado SL 4

I would say that the motor is off > 50% of the time yes. I would also say that I am a 'careful shifter' and am mindful to shift 'properly' and without adding unnecessary torque to the drivetrain. Of course I am not perfect....but I do naturally attempt to shift as cleanly as possible at all...

Chain came off: Vado SL 4

I suspect that most folks with more typical "e-bikes" would be astonished to hear that a chain could last 7000 miles on a Vado SL. I check my chain stretch about every 90 days +/- and have seen no obvious wear whatsoever to this point.

Chain came off: Vado SL 4

Ok. But I had referred specifically to "That Praxis chain-ring on the Vado SL1 was a piece of junk....or it somehow wasn't jiving with the rest of the motor/drivetrain for some reason."

Chain came off: Vado SL 4

My hot take: That Praxis chain-ring on the Vado SL1 was a piece of junk....or it somehow wasn't jiving with the rest of the motor/drivetrain for some reason. Normally the chain-ring is a silent hero. It either works or it doesn't. Obviously the chain drop problem is not occurring on...

    48t 104bcd chainring for Vado

I know that Spesh shipped some Vado and Vado SL with Praxis (which has the chain orientation diagram on the back side) and others with a generic unbranded black chain ring which requires no specific chain orientation. I had problems with the Praxis ring on my SL (frequent chain drops) despite...

    48t 104bcd chainring for Vado

I am only amazed that you haven't had more chain drops regardless of the orientation. Same bike here.... I was dropping chain frequently.... And I was sure to have the chain oriented properly on that Praxis ring. I finally gave up and bought an aftermarket chain ring and have not had a...

Vado SL 2 Alloy version released

You may recall: at the beginning of this season during my first ride, I found that my - button was inoperable. Perhaps the old version was problematic?

Vado SL 2 Alloy version released

I'm loosening up a bit on security now that I'm reaching the 2 year ownership mark. But I live in a relatively low theft environment and don't have to be overly cautious.

Vado SL 2 Alloy version released

I have really enjoyed my SL1....and I too am getting older. I finally bought a light-weight lock which mounts to the frame and an Ortlieb quick-rack....both options I swore I would never add to my SL1. Now I use the SL1 as my fitness bike.....but I also run to the bank, coffee, grocery etc...
