    Velotric ebike Rewiew

As i've had this bike about 8 months now, here's what I've replaced. New controller, harness, display and pas to turn the bike into a pedal assit bike. New front brake adapter as the one on it is not correct. New brakes as one failed. Made handle bars higher for a 6' person-had to extend...

brake problem was caused by the wrong adapter on the front brake. Contack Myles @ AffordableEbikes.ca he made an adapter from the odd connector on the motor to a kt controller. He also sold me the controller and display and harness and a pas with the right connector on it. I made an...

rear brake just went. not assembled correctly and when I tried to put in new shoes discovered the maching was improper and woudl not fit. The bottom bracket bearing seems to be an unground type (cheap). When I'm done the only original things left will be the frame and wheels

    velotric after replacing the controller

this was done to a discovery 1. If you have the truckrun motor of 500 watts should work but on my bike the biggest controller I could put in was a 500w. If you have more room this would work with a bigger motor.

I have contacted truckrun. I've rebuilt a few bikes here and out of all the chinese manufacturers truckrun has been the most responsive.

Known Issues & Problems with Velotric Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

I have a velotric and after having it for 5 months would like to comment on the controller and fork. The controller is a cruise type with several fixed speeds not a real pedal assit. I removed it and put it one that is similar to a rad power controller. The front forks are the cheapest you...

    velotric after replacing the controller

I replaced the controller with a kt controller and now it works like a pedal assit bike, not a cruise control bike. Some of the things noticed in this rebuild: The original brake levers are the old style 2 pin, the fenders are not fitted well, the controller charge plug is not the standard...

    velotric discovery1

Well after a few months getting parts I am almost done. I put in the kt controller with simulated torque control but had to change the harness to the handle bars, the front light (different connector), the brake levers (different connector) and bought an adapter for the unusual motor plug. I...

    Velotric

I own a velotric discovery. Like most of the cheap bikes is has cruise control (level one goes to 12 mph, level2 to 16 etc.). Impossible to ride at 5 mph with assist. I am currently having a new controller made to fix this. I'm 6-1 and the handlebars were way too low. I pulled new liners...
