I always remove my battery when transporting my Giant Explore ebike. It reduces the weight when lifting the bike on an off my bike rack and avoids the possibility of fire if I am rear ended. I bought a cover from Giant to protect the connector area on the bike. Photo of the cover is attached.
Any idea where I can find a Giant EnergyPak 400, 36V 11.3Ah Rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery for my Explore 2020? Giant does not have any according to my dealer.
Larry what did you end up doing? I am trying to buy a second 400 for my 2020 Explore or a 500 and dealer is having a hard time finding either from Giant. Do you know of any other source that has them in stock? Thanks
I am only sure about the the one I have on my bike . I was told early on there is a 500 that will fit as well. It is inserted from the side unlike the "integrated" one on other Giants including the 2021 on the US site. See https://www.giant-bicycles.com/us/bikes-explore-eplus
Yep I went to the Canadian site clicked on the batter and it is not available now. I asked to be notified when it becomes available in Canada as I am in northern Michigan not far from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. I think the problem is covid and/or the trade war with China. My hope is there may...
I did. In fact my dealer ordered one based on Giant's representation it was compatible with my Explorer. When I went to pick it up it was not compatible. The EnergyPak 400, 36V 11.3Ah battery loads from the side. The ones shown on the site you referenced are integrated.
I am trying to find and buy a Giant EnergyPak 400, 36V 11.3Ah battery, dealer can't find one. A 500 would be even better, I have a 2020 Explore E+4 STA
I am trying to find and buy a Giant EnergyPak 400, 36V 11.3Ah battery, dealer can't find one. 500 would be even better if compatable. Any suggestions where I might find a battery?
