Picked up the bike today from REI. The Bosch battery was bad. Something was causing it to overheat and shut off the battery. New battery installed now charging to 100% again.

Bosch battery 2 week delayed delivery. REI did all the work. They were great. They had the Bosch diag software.

Just a follow up. Canyon is covering the cost of the labor to diag the issue. Bosch is covering the cost of a new battery. When they get it in and tested will let you know.

Grizl CF9 battery overheated and shut off bike. Bike sat for 1 month and it never had this problem before. Took it to REI they seemed less than enthusiastic about it. REI is more mechanical repair and less electrical. The have not figured out the cause yet. Has anyone here had overheating...

I was able to swap parts between the two grizl bikes and found out the part that failed was BCC3111 Bosch Component Connector. REI is ordering a replacement. This is the dc-dc converter for the derailleur power.

Last week the power adapter for the SRAM derailleur stopped working. No power when bike was on. Took to REI and they believe the SRAM power adapter is bad. They also said no stock in US for replacement. They are not 100% sure the power is bad and not the Bosch Connector that converts high...

The included top tube is LED and bars so no way to know exact battery % without the Flow phone app running. Unless you have the Kiox which allows you to customize the screens Battery, Speed, Cadence, Distance, Range, etc. With connected services you can show heart rate too.

PowerMore 250 installed and the firmware updated in the Flow app. No errors. Installed in the bottle cage mount and charged up both batteries. Big difference in estimated range. Two weeks ago my first ride was 32 miles and with playing around with the assist levels came back with 2% battery...

OK Canyon does not sell the Bosch PowerMore 250Wh Range Extender in the US. But it looks like I can get it from other resellers of Bosch ebikes. I don't know if the Grizl comes configured to allow the range extender in US. Will have to contact Canyon.

Changing the setup 1 more time. Switching out the 75mm AXS dropper for a 50mm AXS dropper post. Swapping back to 175mm cranks. This lowered my center of gravity and the bike feels more stable. Last week did 32 miles of mostly flat pavement riding. Switching the modes and settled on Sprint mode...

$800 with 50% motor discount on a 2.2 motor with 2,200 miles. Motor was making that noise like a cat in heat. Next time will get it rebuilt. I had 26 months on the bike. Missed the warranty window by 2 months. Specialized did offer %50 off motor but the motor really needs to last more than 2k...

Stefan, Thanks. I found the part it was a 6 pin tool. I purchased it off Amazon. Did not need it but good to have in my tool box. Bike is together. Both CF9 bikes have the same accessories.
