I believe the OP has spoken.
A few facts...
Bafang Go app and Bluetooth displays have been available since 2017
Bafang Go+ app was released in 2022.. same as the CANbus controllers... But it's not CANbus exclusive.
I've owned an eggrider since 2020 and it sits in a box with <500 mi on it...
No one suggested that the sw102 is the eggrider... though the eggrider is built off of the sw102 display and looks similar.
And the "much more refined" was referring to the settings, not the method of programming.
Reading comprehension much?
I agree... But it's not set up for two batteries nor has a smaller range extender available at this time.
And as for a +12lb battery strapped to the rear, especially off center... see post #397.
I too prefer function over form and have mostly abandoned the minimalist approach.. especially in the cockpit.
That said over loading a bike or having poor weight distribution while I ride I find stifles ride enjoyment. I much prefer to ride faster and more nimble over the long haul runaway...
I'm somewhere in the middle.
I can ride for a few hours but typically 35- 40 miles is my butt and time restraint limit.. so I'm well within the capacity of my 21ah battery.
I think I would easily achieve +80 miles with my battery if I took a few breaks and more so if I every found a full day free.
Thank you for calling it a conventional bike.
Acoustic and analog are as appropriate as calling your ebike nuclear and cherished by the internet cat lady peoples. 😜
The screenshot actually reads 300% of the FPL which means 3 times the FPL
But no matter as this along with most energy saving credits require purchase through authorized sellers and/or contractors who end up charging full MSRP and in the end the savings to the consumer are minimal especially...
Yeah.... I'd say so.
But I believe that's why a swap was suggested as currently there is no other solution.
DIY'n it I guess you could implement a switch or just in line fuses that could be removed but I'm not sure how elegant it would look. And with such a large battery I'm thinking there's...
The real issue with dual batteries here is isolating the main battery when you plug in any secondary as it's not set up for that. So a swap out as Ms. Kriti suggest seems to be the only answer at the moment
