Known Issues & Problems with Fazya Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

Update: the Drive unit has been sent back to Fazua - the unit kept dropping out the power and cadence readings to my watch, it is definitely an issue with the bluetooth module as the motor still works correctly. I wondered if it was an issue with the watch, but have since got a new one and it...

Known Issues & Problems with Fazya Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

Watched needed switched off then on before it connected with the power meter. Question raised with Fazua as the power meter records no power or cadence once overt the 15.5 mph where it is meant to show rider power, not motor power

Known Issues & Problems with Fazya Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

Cheers for the info Was out at lunchtime to check and Fazua app would not connect and it suggested removing it from phone Bluetooth connection, so did that and the app worked. Will try with the watch again when I head home

Known Issues & Problems with Fazya Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

Hi Mine is the exact same, I see you can buy a cover for about £20 but it does state that it doesn't need it. Had anyone had any issues pairing the power meter to a Garmin watch. It was working but has since stopped and it doesn't show up when searching for new devices. Cheers Dave

    Swapping Chainrings

It good with the new chainring, the 42T original was just a little on the small side for the commute. That is a lovely looking machine, some motor was well - is it mounted under the bottom bracket - a very neat installation indeed!

    Swapping Chainrings

Speed Rocket mudguards and 50T chainring fitted with no issues. Chain was the right length so didn't need to shorten it at all.

    Hello..should I get an e-bike

Short Version: Just to round this off after a longer test ride of the Bosch motored Cannondale Synapse and an Orbea Gain – neither of which felt right, I bought a Boardman ADV 8.9e! with the Fazua motor :) Long Version: The Cannondale did well on the climbs, but motor felt quite draggy and the...

    Swapping Chainrings

The detail in the e-mail from Fazua makes more sense now: "Your bike shop should be able to swap it out for you no software changes are needed."

    Swapping Chainrings

Ah, had never really looked into it any detail before, can see now that the chainring sprocket on the Fazua is not attached to the arm shaft. Thanks for the heads up, much appreciated :)

    Swapping Chainrings

That's great info, thanks. I wondered how the motors for away with such small chainrings in some applications, it sounds like it's not driven directly by the pedals. I'm not so sure what motor to go for, would prefer a mid-drive but I like the look and simplicity of the Fazua. It is a simpler...

    Swapping Chainrings

A bit more digging, I think there was a miscommunication and all Fazua bikes will already have the spider for the chainring

    Swapping Chainrings

Hi, Looking at buying an e-bike and after a couple of short rides on a Cannondale with a Bosch motor and an Orbea Vibe I am nearly convinced and have longer test rides planned this weekend. However am not really struck by the looks of the Cannondale and it's huge motor and really like the...

    Hello..should I get an e-bike

Had a demo of a Cannondale Synapse Neo EQ - Quite a burly bike, but only a short demo, have arranged a longer one. It rode ok, but looks like I need to change how I ride - rather than push the pace I should just push enough to get the bike to do the work. It seemed quite tough once motor off or...
