I replied to him. I think I've sent him in the right direction. I could program my old controller just fine, but it never gave me any torque that I thought I should have been getting. I converted mine to KT system and love it! I got some serious power for those hills now, I just blow by everyone...
Update! Just wanted to update everyone on how this worked out. I ended up doing what @AHicks mentioned on adjustments to C5 and C14. I tried just doing C14 but couldn’t get to my liking. I think I did level 8 on C5 and level 2 on C14. It’s gets me long distance with battery left over on a 50...
I’m going to try out some different parameter setting’s tomorrow. Try to get level 1 to a good gravel riding speed. I will say one thing that I don’t like about my new controller is that is definitely louder now than with the Bafang one. It won’t bother me, it’s just noticeable now.
This happened to us just recently before I switched my Bafang components over to this KT stuff. We thought our ride was just going to be a gravel rides day but it lead to a nice mountain bike trail that was really flowy and fast except the muddy sections and slick creek rocks. I’ve always...
I gave it a test ride. Lots of power now in PAS levels. Well @AHicks you was right on needed the brakes🙄. Level 5 keeps wanting to go for a couple feet or so.
Question: how do I adjust PAS level one to say around 8 mph? And I must have my motor settings wrong in the settings because it reads...
I have the LCD 7. I’m splicing my old throttle cable now. Do we’ll see. I think I have all the settings correct. I went by the Bolton Ebike video to do.
Hello all! I’m switching over from my Bafang components to KT controller and display. I have a Bafang 1000watt rear hub.
My question is, is there a way to disable brakes and throttle on the display so I can test out the unit. I thought my brakes and throttle would work with the 9 pin cable, but...
ok, I'll tell them that then. I'll get back with you when they message me back. trying to find out soon as possible for you as we are going on a big bike ride on the Katy trail in MO next week. 230 miles to conquer!
Good news!!! They contacted me back. They wanted to know what size hub you are using. Mine was 1000watt, and that's what the kit had. For what I do a 750 would have been better and would have been overkill, but it was cheaper so I went that way.
Glad you found some good info in this thread! I tried to email Accomile directly, but never had any luck. They have a website and everything. I had ordered my kit through Amazon and was able to reach out to them through this way. They always replied quickly this way. The reps name was Yvonne. If...
