If anyone needs a US made battery?

I bought a battery from them, FTH Power, a couple months ago. No problems so far, quick shipping.

    Need Saddle Advice!

Everybody is entitled to there own preference in bicycle fitment, so keep trying. I got a Cloud 9 in a free pile of bike parts and put it on a bike for someone who has lost all fat. Even at that, he wants a full suspension bike.

Not really advanced but - cassette wear after first 180 miles?

The profile on the sprockets teeth are shaped to aid in shifting the chain. That's what I see. Wear usually happens in the smaller cogs because it has the highest loading per tooth. Kinda elongates the tooth valley.

Wanted a belt drive and internal hub - Ordered a Flluid 2-s

Man, what an auction. If only I was nearby, but it's probably a good thing that I'm not. I hope some vendor I know buys then resells all those 25ah 48v batteries. I'd buy a few.

    My "New" Ebike

I'm a bit too old to get all that serious, but the more I learn the less expensive it becomes to convert a bike. My least expensive conversion was about $350, built with mostly free parts and zip ties. Sold it for $300, though I would of given it to the guy as his need for reliable...

    My "New" Ebike

Well, I have ordered all that I need to re-cell the Giant Twist's two 24v batteries. Was about $300, so my total cost in the bike is now about $550. Don't think I'll be able to ever sell it at a profit. Then I see this at a yard sell for $20: Not that I need is another bike, but this thing is...

    My "New" Ebike

Couldn't pull the nickel strips off the original pack without their destruction, and without those re-celling the battery is unworkable. So I'm going to build a 4p7s battery to replace the 5p7s battery. It should fit in the battery's case and look from the outside like the original battery. As...

    My "New" Ebike

I'll take some pictures of the disassembly and the re-celling of the battery and post them.

    My "New" Ebike

If I can pry the nickel strips off the cells relatively undamaged I'll try re-celling it myself. It looks pretty straight forward, and I do have a spot welder.

    Powacycle Milan 2 battery replacement

Maybe a 18650 cell battery (of sufficient rating) would fit in the case. I wouldn't recommend building your own battery, but maybe there's a reputable battery builder near by. It would be less than a $100 in cells. If you want to get it running at a reasonable cost, and you're handy, Harry's...

    My "New" Ebike

It wouldn't be all that difficult to install a new controller and higher voltage battery. It's just that the design is so well integrated I'd hate to mess it up. As is, no one would desire such a slug. Nonetheless, it is enjoyable to ride.

    My "New" Ebike

Yes, though the batteries are in left and right panniers and take up some of the room.

    My "New" Ebike

I recently purchased this 15 year-old ebike for $250. It's a Giant Twist Freedom DX W. Outside of one of it's 2 batteries being toast this thing is as if brand new. Figure it's a 2009 model. I have been riding it around and it works really well, albeit it is slow. I guess back in the day...
