My concern with the panniers was the sharp corners of the sodas ripping them. I can likely put them in the top part and strap them down if necessary though.
Does anyone know if a 12 pack of soda will rip panniers if you put them in?
I have a topeak rear bag with panniers thar fold out. Now that season is on I want to use my bike for more groceries. But I'm worried about my son's sodas ripping the panniers and they box is to long to fit in the top...

My bike store finally got them in.
The moscow's came in but the pluses did not. So I decided to go with the regular moscow.
27.5 one, the step over seems pretty high thankfully I'm 6'2 so not an issue.

It's about time and being noticed.
Ideally you lock it right outside the police dispatcher office but since that's not possible go for next best in a place and manner where they will be caught with noise etc.
I planned on that already. I figure no need for seat quick release as I plan set it and forget it. I'm not sure of wheel quick releases because if I lock the wheels to frame or locking point they are not really a weak spot anymore.
I know that no lock is foolproof just a delay action, same...
