Lief is great. I don’t know where their service would be without him. My bike is still dead. He sent a motor (clutch went out) And the bike ran fine for about a month and now the bike has begun rhythmicly pulsating off and on and then shuts down.

The Urban Plus has been abandoned by Haibike on the dealer site information and in the service information. As in information has been removed. This is from a former Haibike service rep.
Haibike and its sister companies only made two models with the TranzX motors and stopped both...
Also another heads up. Diamondbacks customer service is poorly staffed as of the first of the year. Leif is one of them and a great guy and does what he can. They just can only do so much.
You can do a google search and track down the LogiX software but you also need a dongle. The dongle is the more difficult piece. Currie builds a mid-drive with the TranzX motor. You might find one there. I was quoted $900 for a motor from Diamondback. They took over Haibike’s US domestic...

Chris, the Urban Plus is an external controller that is in the downtube. The controller was originally thought to be the issue but it was the Cobi.bike control unit. Apparently those things have more problems than a Jaguar with Lucas electrics.

Ok, without going into details Haibike and Tranzx refuse to support the Urban Plus. Tranzx has zero representation in the US and Haibike has turned everything over to Diamondback who feels no responsibility to support the bike.

I have/am getting (long story not relevant here) a new to e Haibike Urban Plus in the next week or so. It has the Cobi.BIKE system. The issue is Haibike seems to have tried to disappear the bike off the website which is giving me pause.
I love the setup and how it rides, but my question is...
