Thats great, thanks for the reply. I am very encouraged with those distances. I am going to go bike packing in the summer and need to know where to plan my stops to take account of the distance.

I would also be interested in the answer. I looked at a spare battery and it was very expensive.

Can I please ask a new boy question. What is the reality? Will I get all the miles that Giant say, or are the actual miles less? I know terrain and speed will affect this. I was just wondering what you guys have experienced. Thanks in advance.
