Yamaha Wabash RT Rack and Controller

Wallabe14, Do your have a display C on a Wabash RT charging a phone? The display that comes with the Wabash RT has a micro jack that gives data to a bike computer, but it does not offer power to charge a phone. Do you “definitely” know the display C would be any different?

Yamaha Wabash RT Rack and Controller

So far it Sounds great. My next big question is charging my phone. The display that came with the Wabash RT has a port, but as you know, no power comes to it from the bike battery. I’ll appreciate any updates if you try to charge your phone. Thanks for being the expert on this matter!

I understood the speed at which European e-bikes stop offering assistance is 15 mph. Is your motor still offering assistance when you pedal above 15 mph?

Thanks so much for details. I was concerned that European parts might have a lower speed limit for pedal assistance. Are you still experiencing pedal assistance to 28 mph?

Yamaha Wabash RT Rack and Controller

I’m a new Wabash RT owner. I bicycle vacation tour and have spent quite a bit of time this month adding Planet Bike Cascadia ALX fenders and an Axiom Journey rack for panniers. If you plan to add a rack, I do not recommend using the small black triangular receiving mounts built into the...

    Yamaha Civante Motor

My Civante will be 4 years old Novemebr 13. It has 10,750 miles. I’ve charged the battery 211 times and haven’t noticed a decline in the battery. I weigh 150 lbs, may not be as strong as you and don’t regularly push the bike hard and fast. I typically average 11 to 12 mph. Most of my. Riding...

2020 Civante Creaks like a rocking chair

My Civante is now 3 years old and has 9000 miles on the ODO. I have logged 182 battery changes. That would be 49 average miles per charge. To stop the creeping sound, I keep the motor mount bolts tight and the bike still runs well. The only issue that I recently noticed is the ODO seems to...

    Civante Upgrades

I just hit the 2nd anniversary of my Civante purchase and have 7000 miles on the odometer. I’ve logged 139 charges on the battery. I’ve used it as a commuter and on a 700 + mile road and trail vacation from Harpers Ferry, WV to Auburn, Indiana. I added Planet Bike fenders, Axiom rack and...

    What does Bluetooth do?

While riding my 2020 Civant, I use "Ride with GPS" software on my Apple 12. The software provides route planning and a record of my rides. On a recent reset of my Yamaha controller, it seems that I turned on the Yamaha bluetooth. Consequently my RIDE with GPS software began to incorrectly...

2020 Civante Creaks like a rocking chair

At 2000 miles I took the bike to my Yamaha dealership. They removed the motor, cleaned out the mud and reinstalled the motor with bolts properly tightened. I’m now at 3000 miles and it is still running quietly. All is well.

2020 Civante Creaks like a rocking chair

Thanks to Saratoga Dave and Oski for coming to my rescue. I bet the return of my creaking noise is related to the missing motor Mount bolt. I don’t think I’m equipped to remove the crank and do it myself, but a trip to my Yamaha shop may take my bike off the road. Yuck.
