I guess I don’t really expect a please or thank you when asking a question on an Internet forum. If someone answers my question I’ll often say thanks but not always. I think the “like” button or “thumbs up” button is used like a thank you.
I might be done for the year, rainy days replaced today with wind gusts up to 40mph and a high of 40 f. I’m hoping for a few more days I can ride before winter really hits.
I usually ride alone and so far have never been broken down. If I did I own a pickup truck and would call her to pick me up. If riding with somebody one of us would go get a vehicle and pick the other up.

I rode 13 miles into town today to run an errand. 72 degrees and breezy, normal high is probably more than 20 degrees cooler. I didn’t think to get any pictures until I got home. My bike in front of my shop and a picture from three nights ago looking over the same building.

I’m a retired land surveyor. Believe it or not there is a US Survey Foot and an International Foot. The difference is very small but when converting large metric numbers to feet it becomes important. Then there is chains, rods and varas.
