It’s suppose to warm up nicely next week here in west central Illinois but I’m just getting over another case of Covid too. 4th time if my memory is correct. I’m not sure I’ll feel like riding or not.
Rab I can almost hear the names of those places and towns in your accent. I still remember our trip to Ireland a couple of years ago and a local saying the liked our accent. I felt like saying we don’t have an accent but this entire country does.
I just realized you are also on a tractor forum I frequent. I’m spending more time on my tractor than my e bike also. I did have a couple of decent rides in December but the extended forecast doesn’t show a day above freezing.
I’d love to have one those Kubota generators, they are very nice. I have a diesel tractor so I have the fuel around for it. I have a gas generator but I have to run extension cords and it’s loud
High today of 4°f and a feels like of -11°. It’s been snowing most of the day but it’s so cold it’s a very fine powder and just now starting to cover the grass. Doing this today instead.
I tend to like the darker beer. I’m not a fan of the pale ales but some are good. I bought a 12 pack of Yuengling Black And Tan 2 or 3 months ago and still have a couple in the fridge. I‘ve just cut back and trying to loose a little weight.
When we travel I like visiting the local micro...
Stefan, thanks for reminding me why I have a car and a pickup. Nice job fixing the chain! +4f here this morning, windchill -15f. No riding for me no matter how warm I could dress. I’ve worked outside in this weather and every so often we’d have to get in the truck to warm our hands.
I knew someone who got downright mean to unwanted calls. Say someone calls about a car warranty. He’d tell them his wife got killed in a car crash yesterday. He was single at the time but it sure made them say sorry and hang up right away. Someone was trying to sell him siding for his house...
I read up on them, I fell in love with it until I saw the price. It appears to be a very high end e bike, a lot of power a features. The weight? It looks like about 65 pounds to me. My Trek weighs about 50 pounds so that weight doesn’t scare me. Take the battery out and it will weigh less...
I rode 14 miles today. Cloudy and breezy but 50 degrees so I took advantage of it. It’s suppose to cool off so it’ll be a while before I can ride again. This is an old cemetery I ride by on occasion.
