It depends where you live in Canada. Canada is big and most of us live in the south. Where I live, the climate is "humid continental" the same as Chicago or New York City.

Yeah no doubt. i gave up & took it into my local shop and i heard them struggling too. I had Tannus liners when I got that flat because I got a pinch flat when I went into a big pothole with too low a tire pressure.

I use Tannus inserts and carry Güp. I also have Co2 and a pump. I can change the flat but ugh. My hub drive is no big deal. You just have to plug it in and out. My mid drive bike has too tight a bead. I can't see myself being able to deal with changing a flat in the wild with a heavy bike or...

For wind on my bike, I have cat ears. I have taken the odd call and the person on the other end hears no wind and more importantly, I can hear them. With other earphones the noise cancellation may be perfect but it doesn’t help me hear plus I’m sure it isn’t good for my ears.

Late to seeing this but wanted to reply about how terrible it is and I really hope they catch the criminal who did this.

We Canadians have universal health care as well. I think it’s just part of NA culture that we share more.

I have three but I ride two. I have a Pedego Element for winter & an Electra Townie 10d for the rest of the year. The two bikes are completely different.

It alerts me often when my bike is stationary and I walk behind it. So it does work and every time I’ve had an alert with bicycles on the street and the trails so yes it’s excellent on trails. I’ve been using mine for 2 years this way.

I also like that you are alerted to cyclists coming up behind you on trails. I as often startled by people who don't announce they are passing and also as a woman alone on a trail, I like to be very aware and every bit helps.

I have been using mine for several months. Mostly I use them to hear my Varia beeping but they are also good for phone calls occasionally.

Germans just do cycling better. The nice, clever cycling things often come out of Germany....also they do good aquarium things well.

The vibration issues concern vibrations ruining the camera in your phone. The camera has stabilization built into it and this can be harmed which causes the camera to be blurry. Harming your phone in this way depends on the terrain. I am not worried on roads or smooth trails but there is one...
