I think the Skarper looks weird, but it looks like it might actually work on carbon framed bike. What I really don't like is the price.

@DrewInSK, did you order your new display from Zen? I'm asking because my wife has the older stock display on her Photon and doesn't like it. She finds it hard to read in bright sunlight.

As I already mentioned, this kit will not fit on a road bike frame. Look at how it mounts to the bike's frame.

I like this kit, but the mounting won't work on his road bike.

I just watched this video from epicebikes: The new Amflow PL Carbon looks to be very powerful up the hills and it's light too. The downside is the bike is not available in North America yet.

I've got around 1000km on my commuter ebike with eRubans and so far I've been really happy with them. About 25% of my riding is on dirt pathways and gravel roads and the eRubans have performed very well.

I also have a Ritchey handle bar on mine (WCS Venturemax) and I'm running the same tires as you. I've also waxed my chain (Silca). I also changed out my stock aluminum wheels for a carbon set (Yoeleo). Even after 4.5 years I'm really happy with my Lefty Love the yellow seat and handlebar tape...
