    Best ebike for Petite Wife?

The 24" Boomerang is a good choice. I have a 26" Boomerang so I'm very familiar with this model. There should be no problem with the low frame height in front of the bottom bracket on gravel roads, unless you wife is riding over deep ruts in the road or riding over fallen tree trunks :-) As far...

    Car rack--which brand

Sorry to hear you find the 1up USA rack so frustrating to use. I've used a Thule Easyfold for a year and it IS frustrating and time consuming to secure our two ebikes on it. I recently received my 1up USA Super Duty Double with the ramp and it's a breeze to load the two bikes. They now use a...

    Pedego price decrease

With fuel prices, car prices, grocery costs going up along with so many other commodities it's surprising to see a price decrease for Pedego bikes on their website. As of March 1st a Platinum Boomerang is now $200 less than what I paid 3 weeks prior. There is now only a $500 difference between a...

Question about the NEW Platinum Boomerang Motor

Timpo: It appears that the controller is contained inside the sleeve the battery goes into, so it doesn't seem like I'd be able to see it.

Question about the NEW Platinum Boomerang Motor

I'm not sure as I've only ridden the last two days each ride for about 5 miles. Since it cn be switched between cadence and torque sensing, I've been leaving it in torque mode. My "regular" Boomerang had only cadence sensing, so It's difficult to compare, but plenty of acceleration The torque...

Question about the NEW Platinum Boomerang Motor

OP here with an update... I got my new Boomerang Platinum, and yes it has a 749 watt motor with 52 volt 17.5 amp battery. The new battery has the larger, brighter tail light and with the Platinum edition the tail light has turn signals, activated by a switch on the handlebars. The LCD controller...

Question about the NEW Platinum Boomerang Motor

I'm considering trading in my Boomerang for the new Platinum Boomerang. I like the extra features of the Platinum, such as the suspension fork, thudbuster seat post, 10 speeds, 52V 17.5A battery with larger taillight. I thought I heard the new Platinum with the 52V 17.5A battery also now has a...

    Boomerang vs. Inceptor

I also have a Honda Passport and use the Thule EasyFold bike carrier for my Boomerang and my wife's Interceptor. I have a regular Boomerang and after putting a couple hundred miles on it, I wish I would have bought the Platinum for the front suspension fork and more gears.

    Class sticker?

Someone please educate me as to why one would want or need to put a "class" sticker on their ebike.

    Shortage of e-bikes?

I was at my store in Eugene, OR yesterday and they had at least 1/2 dozen City Commuters. Strange how some stores can't get certain models and others have plenty in stock.

Tucson, AZ, ban on ebikes riding the Loop

I find it curious and frustrating about these bans on e-bikes. If it's because e-bikes "go too fast", why not also ban the standard road bikes which are often pedaled much faster than my class 2 ebike.
