Hey Everyone, for those of you with the st2. What is your average speed. Just out of curiosity. I have an ST1 Platinum and my average speed is 23 mph. Daily commute 28 to 40 miles a day.

My ST1 and my girlfriend St1.

I have a tendency to be hard on my mountain bike. With that being said I have a hard time using my Stromer( $3400) for mountain biking use.

I use to maintain bike every day to stay in shape and do my fair share of hiking. Now that I have a ST1. I haven't touch my maintain bikeor my road bike. That good to hear identified the problem. Keep us updated....

It's should turn more then that. You push the bottom, the door should pop open. Graphite lubricant should help out a lot.

Have you try disconnecting the battery? I have somewhat of a similar problem but feels a little drag. After I do a quick disconnect to the battery. The bike is back to normal again.

I had somewhat of a same problem. I had a hard time turning the key. I use some graphite lubricant how the key turn with out a problem.

The only two problems that I had with the Stromer was it show 10% on charge. That just went way on its own. The second issue it occasionally get stuck in recup 2 when start off on the bike. Other wise it's been a great bike.

There was a recall on the carbon fiber fork. They did correct the problem. if you do buy a used st1 just check to see if the fork have been recalled.
