The riding modes can be adjusted to reduce power drain. You can have, for example, 20% of the power from the motor and also reduce the motor output (amp) to 20%. On the como with will give you a "normal" feeling bike effort. But if the (amps) are set at 100%, this will have the motor pushing...

For me, the plug had pulled out some and the IGH was working off an on. The wiring is tight and the plug is on the shifter casing.

All bikes are welded. So the danger is a poor welding job.

Cadence screen shows after a short press on F2 button, but will not show if the connection is loose. Ask me how I know that.

I think it's a connector. It's now Sept 16th 2023 and the update doesn't fix the problem. Just rebooted 4 times and forced a firmware update today. It seems to be a hardware problem. Update: yes, the plug on the shifter case was partway out. This causes the menu not to show.

There is a system fault. My guess is that the problem is a connector. Mine is acting just like yours, and the bike shop is aware of the problem but not informed of a solution. I'll ask them to reconnect everything because mine worked fine for two weeks then went back to being clueless.

Yes, this manufacture of IGH has a documented drain on power. If you turn off the assist, you are lucky to move the bike. At a high cadence setting I couldn't move faster than walking.

There is no cadence settings on my mission control or on the bike display. Anyone know what connections are the problem? Where exactly on the autoshifter? Update: The autoshifter was not 100% plugged in. Once fitted, tight THEN the Cadence menu becomes visible, like magic.
