By the way, if you do bleed off the air, you’ll need a fork pump to put it back. It’s no big deal, but you won’t be able to get the right pressure with a standard bike tire pump.

Can you do this, @Haibike_biker ? You shouldn’t be dealing with the rebound adjuster coming off the fork tube like that. Yes, absolutely right that it should not be hanging unthreaded like that.

That’s a good question. It could be the picture, but the rear rack looks like it’s bolted to the suspension linkage. What’s up with that? It seems “wrong” to me, but I’d have to see it up close and personal to understand what they’ve done there. Those racks are pretty damn cool though.

Hey, Jeff, do you carry stuff in your panniers on your rides? Those panniers seem kinda chunky for the length of the scenic rides you do. Just curious. I mean, I have a rear rack on my bike which I have never used, but the fender mounts to it and one day I had hoped to carry a spare battery...

Well keep your eyes open for an e-bike ad. Would be interesting to know if the European sales folks think TV advertising is worth it there.

It’s kind of neat to be seeing e-bike ads (streaming) on TV. That’s a new one on me. I’m trying to recall which brands I’ve seen advertising — so I guess the ads aren’t that effective — but I can certainly tell you that I’d rather see these than the ubiquitous drug ads that plague the channels...

Yah. Same here. To me, sitting around with a great (potential) bike while waiting for the laws to settle seems very frustrating. But then again, I live where there is no significant problem and very little enforcement to begin wtih.

What a strange bug/gremlin. Does the display have a coin battery, gang? Maybe it's dead? The loss of the clock sounds like it might be due to that. No idea if that has anything to do with the unintended power-on. Very odd. Cheers.
