Another turn for this thread. Lost our Schnauzer of 12 years in mid May. Have decided to get a new puppy. So I am building a create for her. Meet Millie. Still have to stain and poly floor and top of crate. We get her on the 21st
Bread machines are great for making dough but they tend to have a weird shape and a hole in the bottom of the loaf where the paddle is baked in your bread. I like it better when I bake it in a loaf pan in the oven.
I do cheat a bit with my bread. My bread machine makes the dough, all I have to do is activate the yeast and baby sit the dough for the 1st 5 minutes of dough cycle. 1 and 1/2 hours later pop it in a bread pan and bake. When all 3 boys are home it’s a loaf a day. Bread machine gets a workout.
What types of bread have you been making? I have landed on a very simple sandwich loft. It’s tasty and the kids like it better than store bought . I don’t think we will ever go
The late thing I work on was some gifts for Father’s day and a few birthdays. Saw these bottle openers with embedded magnets on the web so I decided to build a few
Any one out there still making stuff and doing projects? My last one was a necessity. Turns out a 6’ 14 year has out grown his bunk bed. So I built him a loft bed.
4 hour trip rained hard for the entire first half. I got home and unwrapped the bike to find all electronics bone dry. Took bike for a short milk run to Stewart’s ( local store) everything works fine. Good drivetrain cleaning in morning then of for a long Sunday ride
You did great on the resale. Hopefully you find overtime the extra money for the better bike will pay off in miles and hours of enjoyment. The $3400 On my Giant was a tough pill to swallow, but worth it.
