I am on the heavy side which may be a factor in speed. On the website, Magnum says 28mph with a range of 30 to 60 miles. However, for me, real-world top speed is 24mph with a range of 40+ miles if I stay on PAS level 1.
I learned a bit from that trip with @christob -- get a water bottle. While I have had water bottles on my past trips I always felt it was optional. I had this hare-brained idea that if I have an e-bike, there is no need for water since you wouldn't really need it. WRONG! Always have water...

Have you checked out Magnum bikes? My magnum bike is 500W and it's plenty (non-fat tire kind). I am a 6'2" 250lb guy and I can get around just fine with 500W. Why do you need 750W?

Hi, the idea of 'rear wheel off the ground for flats, chain maintenance etc' with a plastic pipe is intriguing. But when you prop it up, what keeps it from falling over on the other side?
