Great biking infrastructure all over Vancouver,no worries there.Stanley Park Seawall is an amazing bike ride but is too busy from May to September.You can easily branch out though.Have a blast!

I became aware of Dost in the context of googling Radpower (three years hence) and consistently and weirdly getting Dost as the first result.They’d somehow hijacked the Radpower results.When I complained to them about it,they answered “That means our plan is working.”

Consider the Jericho Beach hostel,great riding location and probably the most reasonably-priced.Enjoy!

As an upright (call it Dutch-style) rider who’d rather buy smaller and adjust accordingly,I am a counterexample.Enjoy a diversity of approaches…but objectively speaking,you cannot shrink an oversized bike.

So it goes.Bears I’ve seen in that area are generally foraging for blackberries,minding their own business.Still,probably not Gentle Ben types If confronted.This river valley would be primo turf for overnight stays were it not for our furry friends.

They’re commonplace there,so I avoid the excellent Seymour trail during pre-and-post-hibernation.
