    2025 Vado

Marts, I think at your age and fitness you would be absolutely fine with a Vado SL, I have a flat bar Creo which is basically the same just carbon frame but same engine and battery, I have had it just over 4 yrs and regularly do 40 mile 4500 ft rides around the Peak District which has some...

    New Creo2

Yes Vado assist selector on mine and XT brake levers which work perfectly with grx calipers. I have just converted a Pinarello to flat bar as well, I just find lightweight nimble short wheel based bikes so much better to ride.

    Battery charging

one charge cycle is counted when the battery accepts its entire charge capacity regardless of whether it happens in one or several charge sessions. So if you rode from full to empty, charging up to full again counts as one charge cycle, or charging a fraction of a full charge after each short...

    Battery charging

A charge cycle is not anytime you use the charger, at least not on the sl Creo

    Battery charging

Totally agree Specialized use the best cells etc but it only needs to go wrong once, regarding the battery charging cycles one complete charge is made up of a 100% charge ie if your battery is at 50% and you charge it to 100% that will only count as half a charge so twice would be one full...

    Battery charging

I would never leave a battery charging overnight or when I wasn't in the same building, unlikely it will ever happen but have you seen clips of e-bike fires, they are lethal.

It was in lockdown when I got the bike off a friend at trade price, there weren't any vados available and I still thought I was going to be a pro racer at the age of 64 then ( deluded I know.
