Bosch’s torque makes it like riding a regular bike except you are stronger. A BAFANG notices a certain cadence and then jumps you to that speed. This is quite different from riding a traditional bike. BAFANG is probably best for people who want to scoot around town with little or no peddling. It...
8,000 miles. It was $800 or $900 for a Bosch 500 watt. I don’t think it wore out as it happened all of a sudden. A maximum of 50 miles every day with a little left and then 15 miles. There must have been a short or something that destroyed a bunch of cells. Possibly this was because of dropping...
I forgot to mention I had to replace the battery (got the 500 too). The original battery range dropped from 50 miles to 15 all of a sudden after stopping a charge with an over heated warning
After 4 years I have 10,000+ miles. 95% of the miles have been road rides. I still like the bike. There were some problems. The original tires got frequent flats. I called the tire maker and they said Trek demanded an ultra soft tire with maximum traction. They sent me a quality ebike specific...
After three years and 6000+ miles of frustration Bosch agreed to send a new harn. The new harness had two contacts gold plated on the side I had before that had no gold plating on that side. Also my bicycle mechanic was advised not too thighten the harness too tight. Apparently if it is...
I have same bike and 6000 miles. I’ve had one intuvia display replaced at 3000 miles and now I have the sme problem again. This time they are replacing the mount. I’ve been waiting a month for the part. This is very frustrating
The Buzzrack on Amazon, BUZZRACK Approach 2-Bike Platform Hitch Rack, looks very good and the $239 price is also reasonable.
Anybody know more about this rack? The Tule and comparable Hollywood racks are much more expensive.
I have a Trek XM 7000+ with a 400 watt battery. A new 400 or 500 watt battery has a huge price tag. I looked up "bosch ebike battery" in Amazon and they show a "Joyisi" battery for about $300. It has a very high rating by 16 reviewers. It looks like the shape of the battery I have now...
My dealer update acted my software but it still doesn’t have walk support. He called Treck and was told the walk mode only worked on bikes that had th 20 mph restriction. I have a Trek 7000
My XM 7000 had a "loose handlebar" and the bike shop said the fork could disconnect. Trek replaced the fork. This happened at about 1500 miles. I'm over 4100 now an have no problems (yet) since then.
