Thanks for your thoughts on this matter. The bikes do not have any sort of display, just a couple of buttons and a series of lights to show when it comes on, how much juice in the battery and what power you want to use.
I hadn't thought they may have their own "watch" battery....

Hi, I am new to this forum but would welcome some advice please.
I own a pair of old ( 7 or 8 years) Raleigh Array ebikes with front hub motor and slide in battery under the rear rack.
