Do you file depth gauges on safety chain?

The value of an electric mower depends on how much you need to mow and the quality of the mower. I have a DeWalt, and with two 12AH batteries, I can mow between 1/4 and 1/2 acre. Runtime varies with grass height and is usually between 40 and 60 minutes. There is a self propelled model available...

    Garmin Varia 515 malfunction

FWIW, I used a 515 for a short time and had no trouble with it. My big problem was, the 515 wouldn't reliably detect a rear approaching bike on trails. I returned it and recently bought the 820, which works perfectly where I ride. It's a bit bulkier and quite a bit more $$ though, but it's worth...

Do you file depth gauges on safety chain?

Carbide chains don't cut quite as fast as standard types. I'm told it's due to the thicker cutting edge. They can't create as fine an edge due to it's more brittle nature. Pro's generally don't use them for this reason, but I can live with it rather than use a sharpener more frequently. IMO, a...

    The transition

I'm amazed that they are permitted to store toxic chemicals like that in a populated area. 50,000 people in the affected area. Looks like a possibility for a terrorist attack.

Do you file depth gauges on safety chain?

I switched to carbide chains. Yes, you need a diamond burr sharpener, but it only needs to be done every couple of years.

    Ambient temperature and range

Good advice from @harryS above. Actual data will vary between battery types, chemistry, age and manufacturer. In my case, I loose around 20% capacity when riding at 45F (7C) compared to 80F (27C). I've never graphed the temp vs capacity loss, but charts like this can be found online...

Mother charged after son hits pedestrian

Around here, they're called "Ride Outs" and are often sponsored by bike shops that sell E Moto and Suron type bikes. They border on being illegal, and unfortunately, the public sees them as E-bikes, which they are NOT!

    opinion please

If the old battery won't take a charge because it was over discharged, you may be able to save it. If you wire a charged battery of the same voltage, or a bench power supply, to the old battery charge connector, (observing the correct polarity) it is possible to put enough charge in the old...

    shock absorbing seat posts

I suppose it depends on where you ride. I had to replace the bushings on my Kinekt after just 2 seasons. I ride in some very dusty locations and my LBS recommended the cover. That was 4 years ago and no trouble since. YMMV

One of those body art emporiums opened up at the mini mall next to the paint & hardware store. Now, I can get screwed, blued and tattooed all in one place!

The mud guard doesn't keep out airborne dust & rain. You need something like this one used by Kinekt: Not so much an issue if you ride city streets, but a necessity on trails.

Feedback Sports Pro E Lift electric bike lift stand

I have the same cramped floor space problem in my shop. I decided to spend the $$ for a Park PRS-30LB. It raises & lowers via a hand crank, or you can use a cordless drill. I bolted it to a leg of my workbench and made it easy to remove if necessary. Takes up very little floor space.

Good price on the Redshift City, but it's only available for seat tube diameters of 30.9 and 31.6mm. Too large for a great many bikes. Also, there is no optional boot to cover the suspension mechanism. This is critical for dusty or wet environments.
