XP4 torque sensor to cadence sensor?

My wife hates the torque sensor on her new XP4. She has knee issues that don't allow her to put enough pressure on the pedals. She much prefers the cadence sensor on her XP2.0 which allows her to ghost pedal to kick in the assist without causing knee pain.
1) has anyone out there converted a torque sensor bike to cadence sensor? Is it even reasonably possible to attempt?
2) anyone out there wanting to swap their XP3.0 long range step thru for a new XP4 long range step thru?....gave the old XP2.0s to son....
3) lacking that, I guess we'll sell her brand new XP4 and look for a good cadence sensor bike to replace it...

Thanks guys. I'll look into it. Looks like a dealer in Camarillo. Less than ten miles from us!
Equipped with rack, fenders, and suspension seat post like her xp4 would only be about $900 more than that bike.

A couple rides later and now she loves her new xp4. Adjusted her torque sensor assist level to increased assist, and had her try Turbo mode. Voila! Pedaling no longer a problem for her knees on the uphill stretches thanks to the 750w motor and improved gearing over her xp2.0. She's also liking the better brakes, suspension tweaks, and overall better handling.

I got rid of my Lectric XP3.0 it was a piece of junk. The seat / crank angle is not natural to close for my liking. They made changes to the new XP3.0 which now no good power at PAS 1 like the older models had. When you stop peddling the bike / motor jerks. Worked with lectric on this issue and they never resolved it. Sold the thing lost 100 bucks on it but well worth upgrading to the Velotric.

Bought a new Velotric Fold 1 plus and what a night a day difference. 1000% better than any Lectric. I will be selling my wifes XP 2.0 sooner or later and get another Fold 1 Plus.

Also it's Sooooo nice to be able to remove the battery without folding the bike. With the battery removed on the Fold 1 Plus feels as light as the XP Lite I use to have. Got rid of it also. I will ride the Fold 1 Plus without the battery. Would never attempt on the XP3.0.

Looked at the XP4.0 but wow they made them even heavier. Dumb move...

Don't miss the stupid fix a flat / slime in the tires either. What a dumb idea
