I thought this was an interesting build out of 2 RAD fat bikes.

pretty heavy. I have seen a ton of hand powered trikes on the road lately just power one of those then a e trike.

I know some of you are less than impressed, but my wife can no longer bike and she's too unsteady to trike. No this product is certainly not something that fits the normal discussions on these forums, but it's something we may look at. Other friends we've met in our MS circle are interested as well.

No offence intended and none taken, but until you've been there, and hopefully you never are, you will not necessarily understand what this product could mean for mobility challenged loved ones.

My measurements indicate it should fit in my VW Golf Sportswagen, and will definitely fit in my wife's Volvo XC70. In their promo video, that say it fits in a Subaru Outback.

I’m sure there is a place in some folks lives for it. Just saying it’s more a small electric cart. I’m a bit confused as to which version of it they’re mass producing. The blue cart looks nothing like two bikes put together.

Bike on the back in the rack and the rest of the gear in the Thulle on top .
We are hauling around an electric wheelchair day to day anyways. This would just be for an outdoor outing anyways - not day to day.

I do agree with what I think you are saying - "thing is pretty big" and I agree emphatically, but options and budgets are limited. I have no intention on investing on the beta, but if it's tweaked a bit, it could a viable niche product by the time they get to version 2.

I have 2 sisters with MS who would love to have the feel of biking. Even trying to have them on a tandem is not doable. One could think of it as a Quad off roader verses a dirt bike, they all have fun and share the trails, just have different means. Randall, I hope the future will show more options for you and your wife to enjoy outdoor loving life togther.

-with an optional cover or all around protection this can even be of a much wider usage, like a small little car for cities. Can probably cart a rear rack with a 75-100lb cappacity.
Very nice project and great work on the bike builders part to help other people enjoy freedom ! Great price too/

Pieces of what we call "wholesome engineering" always manages to warm our hearts. About a year ago YouTuber JerryRigEverything, aka Zack Nelson, used his DIY skills to weld two e-bikes together with a seat in the center and created an “off-road wheelchair” for his then-girlfriend who is paralyzed and got around in a slow wheelchair.

Now, they are happily married and they've announced that they are selling the base model with no suspension and one battery for $3,750, offering the same relief Cambry got from the bike to everyone. They've named the vehicle "Not a Wheelchair", and the duo built upon the original design making it an even more reliable off-roader.

Apologies, this was probably a misleading thread title. It's definitely a niche product, like adopting a bomb-disposal robot as a pet, or something. (But some people may NEED that bomb-disposal robot). Not a practical option for some. So much effort is being put into e-bike technology, there's definitely potential to take that further. Maybe not this - but it would be great if bike manufacturers could think about what they could do with their technology.

When he and Cambry got married they gifted a classroom for a school in Kenya and overall, he is a great guy.

I have followed his channel for a long time and admire his passion.
When he and Cambry got married they gifted a classroom for a school in Kenya and overall, he is a great guy.

They received that as a gift from one of his friends. He (gifter) has a good video showing how it all went down and started with the premise of what to buy your friend when he's getting married when he "has everything he wants/needs". They are an awesome couple doing some awesome things (he even built a lift [elevator] from their living room up to their master bedroom in the house, and it's pretty cool!!), and also have some awesome friends.

The first version that he built, using two Rad Rovers was pretty cool and I'm sure myself and others would have been happy with that, but he went on to make a custom frame version that was even better. They've even gifted one to a fortunate disabled recipient. Now they're turning it into a business as I'm sure there are many out there that could benefit from such a machine. And if I ever see one on the trails, awesome!! They're definitely part of the e-group!!
