The battery will self discharge. Six months is borderline. I have a battery from EM3EV with a smart BMS that has very little discharge...

It's a free hub. I went ahead and ordered the whole cassette because mine does have some rust in area's and the cost to replace all...

If it is a regular cassette, then you can get a 11t 9-speed cog. But that’s on a regular cassette. I don't know if it is a freehub...
