This wheelset is tailored for eBikes and another level burlier than conventional bicycle rated wheels. More material in the rim, more material in the spokes and attention to detail looks just right. I would imagine these will spawn takeoff's from other companies over time but WTB as a brand had been on the leading edge of wheel/tire/saddle development for 40 yrs. targeting the MTB market primarily. No real reason unless you are a heavy rider to use these for commuting?
