Who makes them. BIKTRIX XD-E300 Hydraulic brakes with sensors.

I'm having a problem identifying who the original manufacturer may have been for the BIKTRIX XD=E300 Hydraulic Brake system. Last year I purchased a Eunorau brand fat bike which was supposed to come with PROMAX Hydraulic brakes. Instead these are the brakes the ebike came with. Problem now is that I want to extend the hydraulic line on the front brake. I have found no information on the internet concerning this brand of Hydraulic brake system. To make matters worse, I contacted BIKTRIX about these brakes and they sound as confused about them as I do. They haven't given me any answer yet only asking me how come I have BIKTRIX brakes on another branded ebike other than BIKTRIX. I checked my original ad and paperwork and I was supposed to get PROMAX brakes instead . Still waiting on confusing answers from both parties. All I really need to know is what company originally made these brakes for BIKTRIX. I can then cross reference a brake bleeding kit, line kit, and figure what brake pads to buy when needed. I mean I cannot find anything about these branded brakes even on AliExpress.

Here's what you have. Brand XOD

I still take my 26" discs(rims) and KoolStop eBike pads over budget hydraulics... BB7's are cool too.

Thanks so much for the comeback. It does look like a match. Far cry from the ProMax I was supposed to get. I guess it's time to find out what they are going to do about it.

The good thing is they work! Most of these direct from China brakes copy well known pad designs. I'd bet there's a pad designed for Tektro or Shimano that matches. To be honest Tektro copied Shimano. I have Tektro and Avid systems. I like the bleed kit Shimano makes, I use it for my Tektro and Shimano pads are a perfect fit.

Most Shimano/Tektro hose would work. If you need barb and olives, email us at [email protected] and we can send you an invoice for them. We have those in stock.

Thank You Roshan for your reply. Please let Newton Borges in your customer support know that these parts are available. Apparently he is unaware. Which would be the best bleeder kit to get for your brand brakes ?

We don't cover warranty of them when purchased through other vendors. That's probably what he meant.

The generic Tektro/Shimano bleed kits work.

speaking of brakes...what pads fit the tektro quad HD-e725 and/or what readily available pads are compatible with them?
The pads are Q10YS. Tektro, Shimano and TRP all have several systems using the same pads, different part numbers. You'll have to cross reference. Many of the after market pads have a list of compatible systems. Note, the e in your hd-e725 is the same as Tektro m725. The e denotes ebike cutoffs.

I took your advice and contacted support about the inserts and olives. This is the reply I got back from Biktrix. Do those costs sound right to you for 10 inserts and 10 olives ??

On one of the questions pages someone asked what size tube and what type insert / olive. Someone answered back saying the XOD brakes used 5mm tubing and Hayes insert/olive. I agree with the 5mm hose but not so much on the Hayes insert/olive. After checking their website I could not find a similar brake as the XOD. Also none of the brake pads for Hayes would work on the XOD brakes. If anything I would imagine the insert/ olive would be the same as Shimano. Can anyone here confirm which insert/ olive the XOD Hydraulic brakes would use ? Thanks to all who have answered so far, doing their best to help me out.

No good deed goes unpunished.

Shipping from Canada is always high. Typically my minimum is $20. Is $25 too much if no one else can point to, or supply the correct parts?

If it were me and i wasn't sure, I'd take the lines, barb, olive into your local mtb dealer and have them advise. You'll pay less and go home with the correct parts the first time.

I have, perhaps foolishly, fitted inexpensive XOD XD-D800 hydraulic brakes to my e bike. The brakes were supplied without documentation and the eBay supplier has not produced any despite my determined efforts. My dissatisfaction with the supplier has been reflected in the rating I gave them.
The levers are identical, and the calipers very similar to those shown in the OP's post - apart from the "badging". There does not appear to be a bleed nipple on my caliper. Is that the case with the BikTrix brakes, and if so how are the brakes bled?
