Whats the best mid drive motor bigger than 250w?

I love my Brose S mid drive motor on my electric mountain bike, but when I want to power up a 15 degree hill in a business suit without getting sweaty, those 250 watts just aren't enough, even with full assist.

250 seems arbitrary and I'm wondering if there's a high end substitute with more power? I know the hub motors have all types of ratings, but I'm interested in mid drive. Thanks!

At full assist your Brose is putting out more like 6-700w so you might want to start from there....

If I'm standing up out of the seat and hammering away at the pedals, the Brose a routinely gives me peaks 500-600w of assist. But when I want to take it easy, stay seated and not break a sweat....maybe because I'm in work clothes on my way to the office, I only get about 100-150w of constant support up hill, with my speed dropping and me sliding into easier and easier gears.

I'd like something that will give me a ton if assist at low effort so I can keep the sweat at bay when tackling those hills.

Have you tried using the app to put it in shuttle mode? I don't own a Specialized or a Brose but my understanding is shuttle mode will get you peak watts with minimal pedaling. Still may not be enough power for you but I'd give that a try.

Mount a BBSHD on the bike of your choice and all you will have to do is turn the cranks.

Ya, my best climber out of eight bikes is my Biktrix Juggernaut BBSHD.
My HD is a better climber than my Ultra powered Wattwagon. I have to say though my Brose powered BH AtomX EMTB will climb a 15 degree hill all day and is the most refined and smoothest.
