What Is The Most Comfortable PSI For Riding A Fat Tire Ebike ?

So this would be for 26 X 4 and up tires.

For this question we don't care about best efficiency if you are running a 48/21A battery it won't really matter anyways.
Also this is not for sand or snow just regular roads and basic hard packed wide trails.

So if you own one of these and have played around with the PSI, what is best?
I was reading for normal conditions there is quite a range 12-25 PSI, I guess body weight might be a variable too.

I usually go around 18-20 PSI for communiting on the sidewalk/roads because it makes the bumps and holes easier to deal with.

Max pressure according to the sidewall. Then I let the Brooks Flyer saddle, Rockshox Bluto, and Rockshox Monarch do the rest.

One thing you should get from this is that there is a range that is okay. What works for you is what matters in the end, but in my opinion, you don't need to worry about exact numbers all that much.

When I air up for hard roads I put 20 lbs in my tires and I'm happy with that. Try 20 for a while and then try 15 for a while and see if you can tell a difference. Adjust from there and go with what you like.

Obviously because there is such a huge range with so many variables there isn't a wrong answer, but lets plug a few in.
Variables, let's say 200 lb rider 70 lb Ebike, with front shocks and suspension seat post, riding on the gravel side(hard packed) of a main roadway, speed 20 MPH

See my previous reply. As you said, there is no wrong answer, which at least implies there is no right answer either, other than what works for you. Unless you're at the upper levels of competitive riding or writing a dissertation, it really doesn't matter that much. (Within limits.)

If you have to have a hard number, go with 17.5 psi.

On my Allant+7 (with front/seat suspension/gel seat) the SCHWALBE G-Ones are kept at 40-45 psi for pavement. It‘s not a very cush ride tho nor do i need it to be.🤓

25lb for me, my neighbors Rover is 20lbs psi and it always feels to mushy and bouncy lol

I changed out the Kenda Juggernauts that my bike came with for 30tpi Origin8 Supercells. I ride 90% road to 10% rail trails. I was running the max in the Kendas (25 psi).

I’m still breaking in the Origin8s. They call for a max of 20 pounds but I’m running them at 22 pounds (for no obvious reason other than less rolling resistance.)

Yes, the Origin8s are a MAJOR improvement. E07ED9A5-BBDD-4E02-A309-45417A4443B8.jpeg
