What a difference riding underwear makes !!

In search of a solution to the discomfort from riding, trying different seat, different angles, etc., I purchased some padded underwear.
Well, what a revelation that was, 30 Km and the Man Zone is happy 😃

Looked those up as I did not know what they were, reminds me of a Borat picture......
I suspect they do not make my size !
sure they do. any padded shorts make you look like you have a load in your pants (G) but you wear a shirt over them so no one knows and they don't slide down. the less you have between your seat the better. I use both but the bibs are more comfortable.

OMG Brother Jim, can believe you brought that up.
I've switched, back
Jockey, good name.
Lifelong learning about how certain underwear seams should go exactly where and which seams shall be flat sewn, for cycling like a Jockey.
'whatta revelation.
Tanks Jimmy!

Amen! A couple times over the past 35 or 40 years I've somehow ended up with Hanes briefs in my underwear drawer - I'd blame my wife if I wasn't aware of how quickly I grab things in the store. Whoever designs those things sure doesn't know where NOT to put bulky seams. I've tossed or given away several pair

When your having issues this works great numbs your parts. I needed it in this heat and missing a week and a half of riding

Guys.
I don't want to go back to the discussions we EBR Fora members had in some "Ultimate Saddle" thread. I just want to point out that proper fitting of the seat can greatly reduce need of padded underwear. The story goes like this:

Since I had not been totally happy with the Specialized saddle that came with my Vado SL, I started digging in my spare parts storage and tried that expensive Ergon ST Core Prime Men. It was OK but I was still not 100% happy, so I swapped that for Selle Royal eZone. Well, the latter felt more comfy. However, during the ride, I felt unpleasant pressure in the crotch. Aha... I took a 5 mm Allen key from my backpack, then turned the saddle just a tad so the "nose" of the seat pointed a fraction more down than before.

I stopped even feeling the saddle! That was it!

But I still wear the Pearl Izumi Triathlon shorts. Ladies tell me my butt looks sexy in them! :D
