Unusual ebike

I would be too, putting a ton of money and faith into an unseen 'future' product that is yet to deliver or even be in production, to me, is insanity.
 
Something just doesn't feel right when I look at this. In a normal wheel design the weight rests centered on the wheels. This would appear that the weight of the bike and rider is not resting centrally on each wheel. The steering must not feel normal, and the ride quality would appear to suffer as well. I could be way off and completely wrong. I'd love to hear from someone with a background is physics

If I took something like that to my local trail I’d never get anywhere due to all the questions and comments. And maybe cause an accident from all the gawkers.
 
No suspension, any impact is delivered directly to the frame. I wonder how long wheel alignment would last?
