Unagi escooter

Another toy, i consider this the Tesla of escooters or the Apple device of short distance mobility(13-15miles).

This one has 2motors, 20mph. max. speed(delimit level), orig. 18mph, about 12-15mile range. Maybe 20 if you are under 155lb.

The 2 motors version is slightly over 1200$ with custom paint. Reg. is under 1.1k. So, a great value, another reason to ditch that cage aka car for those who have not done so yet. ..

Very durable , well build, 1000% flat proof tires , cool and easy to use kickstand , awesome design and display(not touchscreen though). It folds very easily too.
The company also has great customer service.

Most of you long term Ebr members know me, i say the truth very bluntly ...and this one...this is the escooter to get !

Anyone else doing last mile errands , having fun on this on or using an escooter ?

I can actually put it inside the Ortlieb pannier on my ebike and futher extend my range or simply adventure out while the ebike is charging😉. Limitless options !!

Ps- I'm not in any way affiliated with the company , just my own unpaid review.

I used to have a M365 that I'd keep in my hatch for the days that I would drive in. It paid for itself in 2 months considering the price of parking in San Francisco. I'd park out in the neighborhoods and the scooter turns a 20 minute walk into a 3 minute ride. It's a great value. I currently have a NineBot Max which is fantastic if you need range. I bought it so that I can ride my entire very hilly 13-15 mile commute door to door. It turns out that I hate doing that. I'm too cold in the morning because I'm not pedaling and when voltage sag happens at 65%, my speed drops down significantly. I'm probably putting it for sale soon to purchase another lightweight, last-mile scooter.

Yes, they can be so helpfull. I would pedal it if i get chilly.

I've seen this one made by RION, is not a last mile scooter though, is one beast supercar of the scooters.. but is very well made and 2500wh battery.

How much are the Unagis?

How much are the Unagis?

1200$ for the one with 2 motors. 900$ only 1 motor.

With both motors running in highest assist level (3) , 1000watts peak, it gets 7-8miles. But is very FAST .

About Medium Fast on steep hills too in level 2/3 .

Assist in level 2 , with 1 motor , mostly flat about 12-13miles.
The hills and a person's weight greatly affect the range.

I went to the market inside today with it, put it inside the cart, very fast and easy in/out. Groceries in backpack.

With my ebike i would have had to lock it but i can carry a cow in the panniers.

So, it's a great scooter for errands , short rides up to 10miles. The acceleration is excellent , goose bumps.. that's in level 3 with 2motors.

For the delimit -20-21mph max. press at same time brake-+throttle lever and hit the power button 10x. Ludicrous mode😉.

Advantages- Light(26lb), great design, crazy acceleration, great customer service

Disatvantages-

1)Small battery(260-280WH) , i forget how much exactly. and as a rest of the low AH of the battery
2)a very slow (4-5hr) charge.

Based on the very unique, sturdy design and good enough speeds, i can forget easier that it was ~1200$.

There are the Mantis, Emove cruiser escooters at a great value (1300$-160$) with 25-28mph speeds and 30-60miles range. BUT they are 40-60lb ! and not as sexy.

Great selection but much heavier : https://fluidfreeride.com/collections/electric-riding-scooters

A really good one but 52lb. :

And the LAMBORGHINI AVENTADOR SV of escooters( Comes with Grin Satiator, 3KW battery)-~ 5grand, which is actually a good price considering the hand made customs machining/carbon fiber, 0-60mph -6sec., 100mph top speed😳:

This one is probably the best value but also 52lb ...too damn heavy:

May need to carry it sometimes for 1-2min. or 5. Can not. Can with the Unagi 1.
