Trek townie intermittent switch problem.

My wife recently purchased one. She has had problems with the switch but was unable to turn it on yesterday. The battery indicator comes on but the power switch will not work. Has anyone had this problem?

Clean the terminals on the display and the receptacle where it mounts. I had a problem similar and that’s what Bosch recommended. I hope that works,
