Trek HPR Range Extender Compatibility.

Hi my name is Drew, I have a 2020 Trek Domani + . With the ride lengths I enjoy, I’d like to be able to extend from 40 to 60 mi. comfortably. I’d rather not add a “loaf of bread “ size battery extender that goes on the back fender. Has anyone heard of anyone adapting a HPR extender, or are the connectors or voltage not compatible?

You want to combine a Bosch motor with a TQ Range Extender? I do not think it is doable.
The Bosch motor runs on 36 V nominal but the TQ is 48 V. The Bosch system guards itself against any external intrusion. Necessary to mention parallel battery discharging is a proprietary mechanism.

You may be able to use this guy if you have two of the mounts on your downtube that dont fit a water bottle.
